Our Little Lane Parent Governors

The Little Lane Nursery is continually looking at news ways of improving the service that we offer at our nursery and value the feedback from all of our families. Our Parent governors play a vital role in our nursery, holding a unique position of having a parental viewpoint of our setting. Through their children, they have a first-hand experience of the delivery of every aspect of the nursery and each bring a different perspective.

We have regular meetings with our parent governors, where different aspects of the nursery are discussed – whether it be new software, menus, the annual family fun day and our charitable events. The parent governors are also our sounding board in terms of changes to the nursery.

Each of our parent governors are contactable via email as some parents/carers may feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts and suggestions this way – these points can then be discussed at our regular meetings.

Laura Wilson
(Bluebell Room Parent)
My number 1 job is being mum to Evelyn who is 2 and in the Daisy Room. Evelyn loves her time at LL and we love to see her confidence growing as she learns from her friends. Evelyn attends LL 3 days a week, giving my husband and I time to focus on our business.

I set up my own business in 2014 providing specialist advise and utility coordination to the gas and electricity industry. Our Ketton based company, CLM, now employs 13 people so I hope I can bring a variety of support and ideas to the business side of LL. I am also very interested in having an input in to the social side of LL and how the various rooms can integrate more in the local community by giving the children more experiences as well as help increase awareness of this fantastic local business.

He is looking forward to being part of a team that contributes to the continued success of the Little Lane Nurseries.
